Health and Safety
All buses at Arwachin Public School are equipped with GPS & GTS facilities. The transport buses are well-equipped with GPS and sound-tracking for your child’s commute to the school and back home. The bus is put under personal visual supervision while the children are on board. APS has a fleet of small buses and minibuses for this purpose. Most have been newly acquired and run on clean CNG. The routes for pick-ups and drop-offs are carefully designed and continually reviewed for efficiency.
In addition to a driver, each vehicle also carries a helper to look after the children during the journey. All vehicles are carefully and meticulously maintained and the drivers selected for their careful and professional driving skills.
Arwachin Public School is equipped with an infirmary where the sick or injured students may receive treatment and care. In every school, it is important to look after children’s minds as well as their bodies. In emergencies or if a child becomes sick in school, she/ he is taken to our in-house nurse. From time to time, there is a liaison with outside agencies for inoculation programmes – to check if all vaccinations are up-to-date, height and weight are progressing appropriately and that in all respects the child is maintaining good health.
The architecturally unique building is designed specifically for a school, which facilitates easy access to the premises. It has enough open space with spacious corridors. The building has two alternative stairs. There are three alternative Exits with the main entrance which are an additional safety feature in case of emergency vacating of premises. The school’s tight security makes our students feel safe and sound.
